OSI unveils Open Supply AI Definition 1.0



The Open Supply Initiative (OSI) on Monday launched the results of a year-long world group initiative to create a regular defining what, precisely, constitutes an open supply synthetic intelligence (AI) system.

The Open Supply AI Definition (OSAID) v1.0, unveiled on the All Issues Open 2024 convention in Raleigh, North Carolina, is described as “the primary secure model” of a mission to ascertain a set of ideas that “that may recreate permissionless, pragmatic, and simplified collaboration for AI practitioners, just like that which the Open Supply Definition has completed for the software program ecosystem,” the OSI mentioned in its FAQ.
